19 years old. A student in the music program at Columbia University. When he's not in school, he lives with his adopted parents in Mystic, Connecticut. A big fan of electronic and chiptune music, he hopes to become a composer someday. Cheerful and upbeat, he was popular and well-liked in high school.

28 years old. Teaches in the Department of Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic Studies at Cambridge in the UK. A particularly dry and sarcastic personality, but genuinely attempts to help when she's asked. Her magic is in the Nordic tradition and uses rune-carved gemstones as a focus.
