How quickly change doth come.
It doesn't seem like that long ago, I was frantically sitting at my
computer, swearing at Photoshop in multiple languages and wondering why I
was wasting so much of my day trying to revamp this site. It probably
doesn't seem that long ago because that was, um, today. ^_^ Seriously,
though. I guess "This World is Mine" didn't last too long. Ah well. Maybe
a few months has mellowed me out some.
Regardless, this is the new layout for 1/World, and it may be one of the
last. "Midnight Horizon" is an attempt at a cooler, more unified, more
structured, and (frankly) less clunkily coded website. The content
you know and maybe even love (who knew?) hasn't changed a whit. I'm way too
lazy for that. ^_^ Almost all of the pages should be in working order now,
but if you see something busted, mail
me so I can know about it and maybe even fix it. This doesn't mean to
email me with nitpicks about my facts or spelling of names or whatever.
But if you have a legitimate concern about the site structure, lemme know.
^_^
I can't say as I'm writing this that I've had the best day. But good
things have happened to me recently, so I'm trying my best to revel in those
instead of being gloomy. Someone who visits Themes of the Revolution offered
me the entire Utena series for free. I was stunned beyond measure at the
fact that a netizen had been so kind and unselfish as to dedicate her time
and effort for someone she hardly knows. I was touched. Meli-chan, thanks
for restoring my faith in humanity. ^_^
And also...having someone to love is important. Without going into my
personal history too much, let's just say that it's eluded me for a long
time, with oft painful results. But now I have a feeling I can love and
maybe even live again in a way I felt I'd forgotten how. And the way it
feels is like the velvet, enveloping darkness of twilight. The stars above
are limitless possibilities, and with time comes the dawn of a new day. It's
from that midnight darkness that all things are truly born...thank you, my
dashing prince, for sharing some of yourself with me.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you enjoy your stay.
